If you have an individual comment or concern, please feel free to email me and request a meeting.

Did You Miss Orientation?

Communication: I have asked instructors to email parents this month if a student misses more than one assignment. You can always check your student’s progress on Schoology at any time. If you need login information, contact SDelMonte@natomascharter.org.

VLA Private Facebook Group: Do you want to be added to the group? Fill out this google form!

Free/Reduced Lunch

If your family has qualified for free or reduced lunch in the past, or you think you may qualify now- please take a few moments to complete the form through Natomas Unified's program. Many of our students receive free or reduced price lunch but the school also receives additional funding, even if you never eat our lunch. You need to complete this form every year, even if you have qualified in the past. If you have questions or need additional help, your adviser can complete the form with you in your next advising meeting.

The Virtual Learning Academy is a blended, face-to-face and interactive on-line public high school that is free for all.  Our school offers a comprehensive, individualized, and rigorous approach to high school education in a small school setting.  Students can attend school every day if they choose.

Watch a presentation that outlines the Virtual Learning Academy. Please click here if you would like to request more information. If you prefer, you can call us at (916) 928-5343 x1020 to set up an individual meeting during school hours (Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm) so that you can see the campus in action.

At VLA, students are able to experience individual support, teacher developed curriculum, and student interaction with the added benefit of more interactive curriculum and real world assignments.
